I had my worries about the durability. Those worries went away when I busted through multiple flat rocks with this ax. I couldn't be more pleased with this tool. The handle is comfortable and everything is tight. After breaking through a multitude of rocks, the tip doesn't even look used.
Seems like really good quality and it's used almost every weekend doing yard work around the house and wood splitting jobs

I have a packed rocky soil. I needed to dig a hole to replace a broken post which would've been impossible for me without this pickaxe. The handle feels great and I was able to that home dug not also used the pickaxe to pry out the old broken post. Highly recommended.
This pick mattock got the job done! Used this to clear large piles of dirt and rock left for years by previous owners. Weight was perfect for me. Sturdy and sharp, was able to pry a lot of large rocks out of ground to without worry of handle breaking. Been using this to get the rocks out of the ground to and it works like a charm!
