I just added this to my camping gear after using my neighbors a few weeks ago. Standard hatchets are 13"-15" and 1.5lbs, the extra weight and length gives this extra splitting power with less effort.

It's a strong short axe.
I like it a lot. I like the case to protect from injury. I like the weight of it and the handle. It can be used as a hatchet or axe. I have a hatchet and this one is heavier. It will be a great chopping and splitting axe and hatchet.

Great tool for the price
This axe was a lot cheaper than the brand name ones on the market, but the sharpness and quality are on par! You can easily cut rope without even swinging this axe, it’s that sharp.
