For the money this gun shot my calipers very nicely and result is very professional. The spray pattern distance is very short but you can overcome that pretty quick. It does the job if it’s a small one. Anything large scale or body shop related look elsewhere Iwata or Sata … maybe even 3M for less $$
It came out freaking gorgeous, Metallic British racing green, everyone I knew thought I was crazy and said that it wouldn't work, bahh it works just fine. Did the job, took a minute, paint doesn't come out that fast and you need to go slow and do multiple passes but if you don't have a huge compressor and just want to paint your own cars it will do the job and leave you money to spend on that hot girlfriend you'll get with that beautiful new ride haha. my compressor was from amazon too, it was the 10-gallon California air tools 6.5 cfm ultra-quiet model, I did a review on that little gem as well. it was the first time I've ever painted a vehicle and I just figured it out watching youtube. I think the spray it 3000 gun might actually be better suited for smaller compressors but the first time I used it when cleaning it the spring popped out and tiny pieces came out that vanished into the garage somewhere and there are no replacement parts or documentation, that made me mad so I looked high and low for an alternative so bought this one, it worked out ok. keep in mind I have very little experience using these things, but I know that the truck came out great and it was my first time. so there is that.
