What Is Covered

Common questions about INTERTOOL USA warranty coverage
INTERTOOL warranties apply only to the original purchaser of products bought through an authorized distributor or authorized sales channel. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
INTERTOOL warrants eligible products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the applicable warranty period listed on this page. Subject to certain exceptions, INTERTOOL will replace a product, replace it with a comparable current model, or issue a refund if, after examination, it is determined by INTERTOOL to be defective in material or workmanship during the applicable warranty period.
This warranty does not apply to damage that INTERTOOL determines to be caused by misuse, alterations, abuse, accidents, lack of maintenance, improper operation, overloading, improper air pressure usage, corrosion from improper storage, cosmetic damage that does not affect function, or normal wear and tear.
To begin a claim, customers must provide a photo of the defective tool and the purchase ID from the authorized channel where the item was bought. INTERTOOL may also request the part number, description of the issue, and shipping information in order to process the claim.
For approved claims, INTERTOOL covers shipping costs for replacement items within the U.S. only. INTERTOOL reserves the right to replace the original product with the same model or a comparable current model if the original item is discontinued or unavailable.
In no event shall INTERTOOL be liable for any incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any costs, attorney fees, expenses, losses, or delays alleged to be as a consequence of any damage to, failure of, or defect in any product, including but not limited to claims for loss of profits. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other express warranties, written or oral. To the extent permitted by law, INTERTOOL disclaims any implied warranties, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
